Content

A supernatural comedy about Dawn (16, biracial Hmong-Scottish), the top student in an ordinary suburban high school. But when her grandfather dies, his shaman warrior powers pass to her. Although worried that shamanism will interfere with her grades, Dawn accepts the responsibility. She is now the protector of a demon portal between the human realm and the spirit realm. However, with Dawn’s extra special powers, the portal is now seen to all humans – it was previously only something shaman warriors could see and have to deal with. She’ll have to finish high school, or try to, while battling the demons and monsters hell-bent on destroying the human world.
